Going to a Bakersmill in Belgium

We went to the Bakersmill in Essen (Belgium) a few weeks ago. Duncan wanted to ride the Steamtrain and had so much fun. We bought some lovely bread and great cookies and let him ride the train. Ofcourse I had to scrap it for my 2012 diary.
For this page I used a template from Scrapping with Liz, it was a freebie once. And the kit I used is from Jen Martakis Design and it is called Just Smile. Such a lovely kit and I had so much fun creating with it. I know I am gonna use it more often. The blue colors in it are working great with Duncan's eyes, LOL.

A preview of the lovely kit here:
And don't worry if you don't want it all (I cannot imagine that), but Jen has split it all up in seperate packages too. You should really check this kit out over at 2Peas.

3 generations, 3 boys and just Duncan

We had a lovely weekend, my boyfriend's parents came over to visit us and stayed the night. Duncan had a great time with grandpa, who he adores. We went to Oud-Beijerland and enjoyed diner together.

Sunday grandma wanted a picture of the three Veenendaal-boys and that is what we did:
Ofcourse I got a photo where they all look in the lens, but I love it when Duncan does something sneakie like this on a photo, LOL.

Sunday afternoon we had a BBQ at my brother's house and I shot a lovely photo from Duncan and his cousins Jesse and Flinn:

First time ever to get a normal pic of these three. Usually they just fool around and do goofy-faces.

And ofcourse some great shots of just my little one, here is one I love from sunday:

Playing soccer in our yard

Playing on the slides at uncle Richard's

Remember this...

...Photoswap on the Simply Kelly forum, I received my layout from Pam Meeks aka Pammie~K from "by the shore designs". I send her some snapshots from my "little" boy and this is what she made:
And if you want to know the info, here is what she used: a template from Scrapping with Liz from ScrapOrchard and her own just released collection "Beautiful Music". Here is a preview from her kit, don't you think it looks beautiful.
Pam thanks for your lovely layout I am sure we will treasure it for a long time and the kit you used is awesome, I love it!!

The Voice of Holland started yesterday

So much talent already. Here are my two favorites from yesterday:

Guy Barzily, can you believe this guy moved to Holland especially for this program!!

And then there is the Dutch Charlie Luske, he already is in the entertaining business in the Netherland but want to make it as a pop-/rockstar. I think he can really win this one.
Our fridaynights are filled again with television, I love it!!!

Snapshots of a day in Volendam 2008

I made some pages for PxlCafe today that I cannot show you yet. But I think you will only have to wait for a few days and there will be a freebie involved so check back soon.

And just before starting this post I finished another page for my diary. I think I am gonna treasure this diary forever and can't wait to get it printed. Wondering how my sis-in-law is doing, because she's gonna order the same one with her own pages and she just started digi-scrapping, LOL.

Here is my new page with snapshots of a day we spend in Volendam. We took a photoshoot in traditional costumes, I am not sure Duncan liked it very much. Walked through the town and had to eat some fish.
For this page I used a lovely and full packed kit from Little Feet Digital Designs by Miss Janet Carr, you can find her kits at For The Luv of Art. This kit is called: Love is in the Air and you can find it here. And I also have a preview for you:

Photoswap on the Simply Kelly forum

When I was a paperscrapper, back in the days, I did this a lot. Swap photos with someone else and make a layout in your own style. I saw a post on FB that Kelly from Simply Kelly Designs was hosting one on here forum. I did not have to think about it and entered.

I did send my photos out this week, so not have them back yet. But I received Kelly's pictures about a week ago and today I finally sat down and started with a layout for her. She send me some photos from herself and her sister Laurie making wedding invitations for Laurie. It was hard, because I am used to scrapping photos about my 4 year old boy and his past, LOL.

I send my page to Kelly today and she told me she loved it, pffffffff, so glad she did, here is the page:

For this page I used the Buttercup Kit from For Reals by Tracy Martin, available at PxLCafe. Here is a preview of this wonderful kit:

My diary for 2012

I know it is only September, but before you know it Sinterklaas is here and after that it is only a few weeks before the new year. For next year I want to buy my diary at myphotofun.nl. My sister-in-law has one from them for this year and it is gorgeous. So I wouldn't be myself if I am not gonna design some of my own pages.

The first page I made is with pictures of my little boy (who else?) when he was only a few days old. I think I am in love with this page, LOL.

For this page I used the Matryoshka Digital Kit from For Reals by Tracy Martin, this one is available at PxlCafe.com. You should really check out this wonderful kit:
And if you want to try out some designs from Tracy first, she also made a lovely freebie for you as an add-on for this kit and you can find it on her blog. You should really check it out.

Please be patient!

I am trying to figure out this whole blogger thing. I had another weblog, but it took them so long to convert that to something new that I am trying to set up this one at blogger. I will try to keep this one more up to date, it is not my strong point, LOL.

What am I gonna share with you; well lots of layouts about my little boy and his life, some stories about my little family, stuff I like in the WWW, and pictures of me and my family and who knows maybe some digital scrapbook freebies every now and then.

If you have some questions for me, feel free to ask and I will try to answer them as soon as possible. Keep in mind that English is not my daily language, so there might be a type once in a while.

For now I will leave you with some info about the digital kit I used making the header for my blog. You can find it at PxlCafe. The name of the kit is Meadow Daydream and it is from For Reals by Tracy Martin and you can find it here.
Well this is it for today, hope to be back real soon with some layouts and other new things.
